Hello! Just a short update before I go on and start my day. It's been a busy month! My sister Kekna is getting married, so naturally the house becomes chaotic *bayangkan adik-adikku menari macam 3budak hitam di background untuk menambahkan chaos*. Wedding is zeriuz bizniz guyz. Siapa-siapa yang merancang nak kahwin, tolonglah prepare 3tahun sebelumnya.

Dalam pada kesibukan kami, I pun menambah penyibukan diri dengan my own project, which is room makeover: Bedroom Project! This is the secret project I've been talking about. KONONNYALAH secret walhal everytime you go IKEA, you boleh terserempak muka I yang tengah confuse-confuse baca nama perabot.

Tak sabar nak kongsi Bedroom Project and share buying/deco tips! Okay now nak pergi busykan body lagi. Selamat Maju Jaya!

Jakarta Must-Do

Not, not necessarily to visit this salon. Any salon will do. Because all salons in Jakarta offer.... CREAMBATH TREATMENT! But we chose this salon since it's the cheapest one in Plaza Indo, after surveying few options.

Why Malaysia no creambath?! I think baru nak ada but not many. It's not a common thing here where they massage hair treatment (can choose pati kelapa or alpukat or etc) onto your scalp and the massage goes on till 30minutes or more. Ahhhhhhhh so so good. 

At first Kekna didn't wanna do it because I promised her it'll cost only around RM40-RM50. LOL SILLY ME, AMBEK KAU RM80++ ACTUALLY.

 Jadi kami tiga beradik pakat buat juga, takpe it's on me sebab I reaaaaaaally want them to experience it. Rugi sangat datang Jakarta tak buat rambut. Diorang memang blow cantik dan.... AMAGADDD CREAMBATHHH!

Then we had the creambath session, sejurus after that baru wash and blow.

Alisya is prolly nervous because her hair stylist looks like Chef Wan and is supposed to be cooking, not styling hair.

Berbakat betul tangan orang-orang Indo. Beralun rambutkuuu.

Kekna buat hal, hair so thick took forever to finish. 

Me and Alisya finished earlier, so naturally...

Adik Perempuanku Yang Satu

EDITED! UNTUK TONTONAN UMUM :)

Baru lepas mandi dengan adik kecilku Alisya. Dalam bilik air yang sama. Ingat takkan terjadi lagi si godang 21tahun dan si kecil 11tahun mandi bersama, jirus-menjirus air sejuk sampai ke tulang, dari sebiji gayung buruk. Rupanya, adik-beradik tetap adik-beradik. Takkan lari daripada terkekeh together mandi berdua.

Yang tak disangka-sangka, waktu I shampoo rambut, banyak pula pertanyaan tips, mengalahkan pembaca belog I. Mula-mula dia tanya cara shampoo yang betul. I pun tunjuk macam-mana nak shampoo sambil menguraikan rambut supaya tidak perlu sikat sesudah kering. Kemudian dia lihat I sapu conditioner, dia pun nak tahu lebih lanjut. I pun explain conditioner jangan letak sampai akar umbi rambut nanti scalp berminyak. Bila lihat I keringkan rambut, dia nak ikut lalu tanya cara yang betul. I pun demonstrate cara nak dab dan ikat rambut dengan tuala sehingga kering. Waaaaaaaaaaah adik aku! Dalam pada tak kisah main panas dan lasak terserlah kejantanan, nak juga kelihatan anggun?

Ini ke Alisya? Ini ke Alisya yang waktu majlis pertunangan Kekna, belum sempat selesai tetamu pulang, sudah tukar baju kurung kepada seluar dan t-shirt sebab nak main takraw depan rumah? Ini ke Alisya itueww?!

Why Oh Why?

Why is it that during the NAPBAS voting period (it's 15 Nov till 27 Nov btw), I will be away and out of this country thus unable to (become my own biggest fan and) religiously vote myself every 2hours?

Honestly, bab kaut undi, I memang fail *playing the sympathy card*. Seriously, kalau kena appoint jadi calon ketua darjah, terus bontot gelongsor ke depan dan tengkuk masuk dalam badan, sebab malu sangat. Malu kalau dah berdiri luar kelas dengan calon-calon lain, pastu takde siapa undi. Even orang yang mencalonkan tadi tu pun tak undi T_T

Masa dekat universitas, walaupun semua cadang I bertanding untuk position MPP, I tak pernah ever. Ya MPP, yang kau kena berkempen janji manis propaganda manisfesto paling gemilang untuk raih undi itu. Yang satu minggu tuh memang kau kena tiba-tiba senyum kat setiap jasad mengharapkan mereka hafal senyuman kau dan semai dalam dada untuk pangkah muka itu. Tak ghetiii. Tak ghetiii.

Jadi apakah kesimpulan cerita ini? Kesimpulannyaaa... UNDILAH HAMIS JALIKHA UNTUK MOST INFLUENTIAL BLOG. BOLEH UNDI DI SINI MULAI ESOK (15.11.11). Am I doing this right? Is this how you fish for votes T_T

You remember Demok? The baby girl my family babysits since forever? Yes, the triple chin young lady. I'm sure you would want to know what has happened to her and how she is doing.

This might seem like a normal IKEA day out to your eyes. Aww look at them bersopan-santun crossing the street. Obviously belum warm up.

Pramugari atau Gaun Pengantin?

Fuh tajuk… kontroversi. Konon-konon tengah buat pilihan yang menentukan masa depan. Malang sekali untuk anda yang suka cerita sensasi, ia hanya propa belaka. Ini kerana ia adalah dua judul buku dalam tangan saya sekarang.

Buku dari Koleksi Syok! Terbitan PTS...

Aku, Dia & Gaun Pengantin dan Pilihlah Aku Menjadi Pramugari.

Apabila nak berangan-berangan, antara dua buku ini, of course I akan baca Aku, Dia & Gaun Pengantin dulu. Dalam pada itu, bolehlah bagi input dekat Kekna yang tengah busy persiapan wedding dia. Memang buku ini I find somewhat useful. Not only bercerita pasal the hilarious journey of a bride-to-be, juga diselitkan sekali to-do-list and tips for bakal pengantin.

Bolehlah Keknis share sedikit k? Nak lebih-lebih, sila beli dan baca sendiri.

ñ  Bunga: Ada few types yang boleh didapati dengan harga ekonomi bila season dia, jadi survey dahulu. Jangan pilih rupa dan warna sahaja, ambil kira baunya.

ñ  Tempat majlis: Senaraikan apa yang diingini dari tempat itu, dan sediakan soalan untuk diajukan sewaktu tinjauan.

ñ  Gaun pengantin: Minta pendapat designer. Minta pendapat orang ketiga, orang yang melihat. Jangan perasan sensorang.

ñ  8-6 bulan sebelum berkahwin: Buat budget, usha direktori perkahwinan, tetapkan jumlah persalinan kat majlis, cari rumah, daftar kursus pra-perkahwinan dan etc (nanti beli bacalah). Pengantin lelaki, check balik jumlah duit hantaran yang dah difinalized. Salah percaturan, naya.

ñ  5 bulan sebelum perkahwinan: Pergi kursus, beli cincin, pergi facial dan spa (siapa nak diet, sila start sekarang), tempah videographer dan photographer serta banyak lagi.

ñ  2 bulan sebelum perkahwinan: Cepat cari pengapit! Hantar kad jemputan! Dan beberapa lagi agenda…

ñ  3-1 hari sebelum majlis: TIDUR AWAL. Atau selama-lamanya akan tersemai wajah tak semegah dalam album kahwin. Macam mana nak ikut trend dan jadikan Facebook display picture nanti? LOL.

Bila usha website PTS ini lebih banyak senarai novel yang catchy-catchy, boleh rambang mata (ceh novel Pilihlah Aku Menjadi pramugari pun I tak baca lagi). Kemudian… aik ada contest ler pulok.

 Ada peraduan Bongkar Kod Rahsia. Wah.. Hadiah Ipad 2 pula… Terus Keknis klik iklanitu. Bila Keknis study-study peraduan ini, novel yang Keknis beli boleh digunakan untuk bongkar kod rahsia. Tapi nak kena tambah 6 biji buku lagi sebab kena masuk 8 pusingan untuk melayakkan menang hadiah utama.

Oh ya, pertandingan bermula 1 Oktober -23 Disember 2011, jadi jangan buang masa lagi! Satu pusingan hanya satu minggu! Okay bye Keknis undur diri dahulu sementara korang semua usha www.peraduan.pts.com.my. Ingat, membaca amalan orang cool.

To Be Center Stage

Do you know what it’s like to be the center of attention? To be in the spotlight and have control of the stage? To be deemed as intense and opinionated?

I have.

All this while I’ve been told my friends and family that I am outspoken and intense, but hey that doesn’t necessarily mean a good thing right? Maybe my friends are just saying that because I always say the wrong things? Maybe my siblings are just saying that because when I argue with them, I do it so well, their points are suddenly invalid? Maybe my parents are just saying that because when I want something, I’ll present them a (verbal) proposal they can’t reject? Hehehe.

Then I enrolled into Uni and was recognized for being outspoken and intense. In my freshman year, I was the Public Speaking Champion. In my final year, I was awarded Best Speaker during the debate finale. So I guess my friends and family meant it in a good way eh :P (Don’t ask what I was doing in between freshman and final year because I was basically lazy and always away for the weekend :B)

To be completely honest, I don’t quite fancy the idea of going in front of people and have hundred pairs of eyes focusing on my every move, listening to my every word, anticipating any mistakes I was bound to make. But you know the storyline; no one wants to do it-- I gotta be a hero and represent – I rejected but a hot guy talked me through—standing ovation-- at the end of the day everybody is happy—credit rolls while the crowd cheers. Yada yada.

So what was it like being center stage? AH-MAY-ZING. The thrill of having all eyes and ears on you is indescribable. It feels like HEY YOU I COMMAND YOUR ATTENTION, and surprisingly they obeyed LOLOLOLOL! Gotta love the electrifying rush that comes with it. If you ask me to do it all over again, relive the glorious moment, I would! The hot guy doesn't even have to talk me through it this time.

Why am I telling you all this? Because I feel like I can relate to what Fergie has in mind when she created Outspoken Intense perfume.

Save Yourself From Heartache

Heartbreak is inevitable. Even in a seemingly happy relationship, heartaches occur when expectations are not met or when word is inconsistent with deeds. People make mistakes, slack off and overall imperfect. There’s only two ways to it; it could either make the relationship stronger, or break it. Dwell or move on, your call. In the end, it all comes down to the two of you because relationship is only as strong as the people in it.

When my heart aches, I can’t sleep. I lose track of time. I hang my head upside down from the couch. I spend longer time on prayer mat. I also seek comfort from chocolate and music.

I don’t know how much heartbreak this guy has gone through-- but if it means more emo songs from his genius lyrical mind, we aint complaining. Lagu ini sedih sebab sedap tapi sedih. Macam cerita Kabhi Kushi Kabhi Gham dan Qabil Qushry Qabil Igam, sedap tapi sedih. Layan tapi nangis.
