Why Women Think They're Ugly

I am addressing this issue because few have come up to me and asked how does it feel to be so beautiful? And some, with a hint of negativity; you don't think you are THAT pretty are you? Both of which, I absolutely agree on. Yes I am beautiful, and yes I am not THAT pretty. And even, to satisfy the other subset of fanbase, yes I am ugly.

How?

The concept here is that, everybody has different taste in woman or man. Sometimes we see this one woman as a goddess with the perfect facial features and bone structure, then wonder how come no man feels the same? Sometimes we might even argue with our partner simply because he finds Taylor Swift (for eg.) attractive and we go, that pale dummy?! This is of course, due to the many aspects of growing up that differ from one person to the other.

Personally, I am a weirdo myself, when rating a man's attractiveness level. Scrap the eyes, nose, smile, and height. I am always attracted to:

1) A lean neck

2) Symmetrical hairline meets bushy straight hair

3) Small waist and small butt

4) Straight shoulders .

When rating a woman, I am attracted to 1) Long teeth 2) Elegant thin fingers. You find it amusing? Tell me what are the features that you consider in rating a man or a woman? You might amuse me too in return.

That is why, we should always be empathic when our dear friend has fallen in love with someone rather ugly (to our eyes, according to our 'taste'), because later in life, s/he might be thinking the same about our choice of partner. Nobody have the exact same taste in something (except maybe some identical twins, but still not all), so chill already. Beauty is too subjective. Nobody gets to be beautiful in all eyes, as well as nobody gets to be ugly in all eyes.

Bear in mind that; if you think you are ugly, there are people out there who thinks otherwise. From now on when you wake up and look at the mirror, praise The Almighty Allah for creating and giving you, your perfect features. Again, my theory is that, if you really think that you are ugly;

You are not ugly,
you are just not your own taste.

Heck, even I am not my own taste.

Kamera Pilihan Saya

Dah berapa kali janji ditabur kata nak jual baju lama-lama I? Konon nak buat HHMD (Hanis’ Hand Me Downs) tak buat-buat? Bertrilion kali. Sebab leceh nak tangkap gambar sambil gayakan baju, lari-lari kejar timer camera, kalau buruk kena tangkap lagi, lari-lari anak buat kali keberapa entah hanya untuk sehelai baju. Belum berhelai-helai baju lagi.



Nikon Coolpix ketuk pintu I tepat pada masanya, I ♥ you Nikon Coolpix! Jadi sempat masa cuti baru ni, geledah (sebahagian) baju lama untuk dijual, lalu main dengan Nikon Coolpix and… wait for it… the remote control! Sesuai dengan jiwa remaja I yang masih rindukan bergambar bak Myspace. Kalaulah dalam abad ketika ada Myspace dulu, ada Nikon Coolpix..

Kenapa I kata senang untuk penjual baju online? Sebab remote control dia membenarkan kita jadi model, jadi photographer, jadi art director pada satu masa sekaligus. Sorang-sorang buat kerja, no hal. Hanya dengan Nikon Coolpix.

Features mesti suka adalah: Remote control. Projector. Touchscreen feeling iPhone gituewww. Dan bahagian bawah camera ada tilt feature yang saaaangat practical.

Ini tanpa flash (curtain bilik buka halfway).

Kembali tutup curtain untuk tunjuk flash feature. Posing haruslah paling cey cey.

Untuk tidak begitu bimbo dan hanya focus keseronokan pada remote control camera, mari beralih pada feature lain iaitu projector. Paling awesome sebab kalau beraya, tangkap banyak gambar sanak-saudara, dan dan itu juga boleh pancar ke dinding untuk semua orang tengok. Takyah berebut tengok sorang-sorang. Takyah cari tv nak plug in (tapi kalau nak cari TV juga, boleh je, dia sertakan cable).

I tertinggal selipar kat luar

My dad kata I macam orang kampung first time datang hotel. Dia suruh tangkap gambar.

Padahal orang kampung first time datang hotel pun tahu behave T_T

Mata Air.

Hari ini bukan hari cuti biasa-biasa yang lain, tapi hari ini bersamaan 12 Rabi'ul Awal ialah hari ulangtahun mata air kita. Pencetus revolusi yang terbesar punya!

Jadi janganlah bermalas-malas menganggap hari ini sebagai just another day off dan banyakkan berselawat ke atas Nabi. Hari ini takmo dengar lagu-lagu lain, kita fokus kat mata air kita sahaja :') Patutnya not just todaylah, but it's a start!

Oh sebenarnya nak cakap juga playlist saya lacking lagu-lagu nasyid. Fine, adalah lagu Maher Zain tapi, tak feel sangat. Nak lagu Raihan juga! Because me and my siblings grew up listening to Raihan in the car. Bukanlah mereka selalu tumpang kereta dan berkoir di dalamnya. Tapi mama dan daddy beli kaset Raihan dan tak kami jemu-jemu terbalikkan kaset Side A ke Side B setiap kali habis. Semua lirik hafal. Semua videoklip tengok. Semua ahli kumpulan, sungguh signifikan wajah mereka diminda. Even masa salah seorang daripada mereka meninggalkan kita semua, terasa sungguh. We really love Raihan and their songs.

Jadi misi sekarang nak cari kaset Raihan, letak kat kereta. Sementara itu takpe dengar Youtube dulu dan flashback those days Kekna, me and little Khairi gerak ke kanan ke kiri dalam kereta nyanyi lagu Raihan.




Mula-mula kena dengar lagu first dalam kaset tuh. Lagu Puji-pujian.

Sebab diorang juga, kami tak sengaja (yelah kan masih kecil) hafal nama 25 rasul sampai sekarang :')

Nabil have been bragging about his stay in Holland till I miss Holland so much! Hate you with vengeance, man. Speaking of man, guess who is no longer a boy?

Happy Birthday Best Boy Friend! Love you long time! We were in Ayah James car, to pick up Falinda (his celebrity DJ daughter) from work, so we can jalan-jalan around Rotterdam. Rotterdam is the largest port in Europe and the mayor is a Moslem. Aboutaleb nama beliau. So kalau pergi supermarket dia mesti ada halal section semua :')

Nabil's first time. I made him eat it jugak no matter what. Later when you're back in Malaysia we can go eat sushi together hik hik.

Anyway, sedar tak dari entry lepas, kita dah tukar warna rambut kepada warna schokelat gelap? Takyah komen, jawab sedar ke tak sedar je.

Saja cakap sebab baru terperasan Milk A Deal ada deal dari Ivan and Max Studio Salon dekat Damansara Perdana. Murah gilo RM88, instead of RM260 for Color, Treatment, Wash & Blow . Tapi deal ini tinggal lagi 2 hari sahaja. Today and tomorrow kalau nak purchase. Jadi lihat rambut anda, adakah ia memerlukannya? Bertindak segera.

These days she has more modelling gigs than me okay. Photoshoots, newspaper & tv interviews for the new animation series BoboiBoy which she will be lending her voice to Yaya, BoboiBoy's buddy. I really can't wait for that, my baby girl's voice for cute kampung girl with superpowers :')

But that is not exactly the reason why I'm writing this entry. I was browsing through photos on my old laptop and saw couple of interesting screencaptures I made of Alisya's spontaneous Facebook statuses. Aduiii budak nih.

Hahahahaha boleh pulak ada punchline dekat comment yang dia hantar sendiri. Adik siapakah ini?! Adik siapakah yang sungguh hard-sell sehingga menggunakan kek cokelat emak sebagai display picture?!

Kecil-kecil dah pilih team bola sepak. Out of nowhere gila. Pastu siap bagi tips kat kawan-kawan macam mana untuk tidak jadi bodoh sensorang. Hahahaha!

Konsep Pizza Hut yang dekat Subang 2 nih sama dengan yang kat Pavilion. First time pergi Pizza Hut glamour macam nih masa dekat Pavilion, dengan Awin. Jakun gila. I mean, dari segi kecantikan dan keselesaan. Interior deco dia cun, tak macam Pizza Hut biasa yang tak ubah seperti fast-food outlet ituh. Jadi bila tempat cun, duduk lama-lama sikit pun sedap je bontot.
